Since this is a a large project through the whole term and I’m also taking a photography course, I don’t want to take more photographs. I see myself as a person that isn’t super into new media art, such as performance art, digital art etc. But started with this initial tiring of photography, I want to take some risks on a “new form of art”.
Having done some researches on multiple new art medium, I laid my interest on digital rendering/modeling on architecture (another interest of mine. ) I’ll mainly be using V-ray for SketchUp or Cinema 4D. Below are some examples of what I mean by digital rendering and modeling.

To me, this might be easiest step to combine architecture with art. It doesn’t involve a lot with modeling in 3D, but more on 2D graphs, color and lightings… Another alternation of this might be to put together a video with 3D modeling and renderings with a change of lights and camera angle. I still need to dive deeper into the possibility.
These modelings are just like simulara as Baudrillard said. They are totally “fake” from the ground since they are not the real buildings. However, they are just like any other form of art, painting, photography or whatever. What’s different is, this could give an insanely replica of the actual place/place in mind without a requirement for hand techniques, and you can easily undo and multiply stuffs. They are idealized visualization of an idea in mind.
so cool! And I didn’t know you are into architecture. I am curious of what type of building you are trying to create in the end!

This is so cool and is very unique. It will be interesting to see how and what programs you do to make this and how you choose to present it !
